“Thank you so much for taking the time to look into everything for me, I feel very relieved that there is help out there. I’ve been racking my brain trying to make heads or tails of everything and this has been extremely helpful!
As soon as I aquire this next property I’ll be booking a load of sessions with you.
Hope you and your family are doing well 😁”

“I wanted to thank you for the support sessions for my dyslexia which I found enlightening. Your insight of neuro diverse conditions has helped me to navigate my way through some challenging situations in recent months. Particularly useful was your ability to empathise and delve enough to suggest ways forward leading to new approaches to situations. I also found the small and simple tasks useful in setting achievable goals in a way which promotes confidence.
Top man and thank you.”

“I feel right now that I am on the top diving board and when we started I was on the first bottom step. I now feel like my toes are just peeping over the edge. You’ve done all that with me but now I have to take that dive on my own as there is only room for one to fly.”

These sessions with Gareth have been life-changing for me. I have learnt more about myself and how my neurodivergent condition affected me personally. In these sessions, I was able to develop a plan on how to manage my neurodivergent condition at work and identify my neurodivergent strengths, which have allowed me to contribute to my team in a unique way. I have felt empowered by discovering my strengths, instead of feeling like being neurodivergent is a disadvantage, because it doesn’t have to be. Gareth has helped me to understand my neurodivergent condition and self-advocate. I have received support with employment and disability laws advice, advice on resources that I can access, and I have been able to process the difficulties mentally and emotionally that I had been experiencing when I had no support with my condition previously.
These sessions have allowed me to believe in my abilities, build confidence, and work on my career at a big company. I am working on my plan, and I can work as effectively as a neurotypical person because of reasonable adjustments and the strategies that I have learned. Most importantly, I consider my well-being whilst working towards my goals. I would highly recommend coaching with Gareth.

These sessions with Gareth have been life changing for me… ”

Coaching with Gareth gave me new perspectives, a new sense of personal confidence, and a renewed belief in my abilities. Having received a diagnosis late in life, I was unsure if my strategies to managing my workload and interests were sufficient. Gareth helped me understand my strengths, and how to use those to my advantage in the workplace. I am now feeling much less overwhelmed with my work, and much more confident in self advocacy, pacing, and workload management. I will continue to be using the tools and strategies we created together throughout the rest of my career! I cannot thank Gareth enough for his support, awareness, and personalised approach to supporting me through coaching.”
That sounds quite sterile when really what I want to say is ‘thank you so much for giving me my confidence back and helping me understand how to function!’
Take care and I hope you’re well, I’ve just been spending all of my time gardening and building things recently which has been great!

“I just wanted to say thank you for the support and encouragement throughout the time you have been my work coach. The sessions have been really useful, and it meant a lot to be able to drop you an email in between sessions if anything came up.
You helped me to understand that it’s ok to forget my coping strategies sometimes, and that there are things I can do to help me to remember to use them when I need to.
Through our sessions I’ve really come to appreciate the importance of stepping away from work and taking short breaks where needed, and it was great to explore the practical applications of the pomodoro method with you.
You also helped me to identify some things from my past that I am still struggling with and gave me the confidence to seek out some further support, which has been very beneficial to me.
Thanks again, it has been a pleasure to work with you, and best of luck with everything.”

“The sessions I had with Gareth were extremely beneficial and have improved my wellbeing both inside and outside of work significantly. The tools we developed have allowed me to take a step back and think logically about issues I may have been experiencing and acknowledge that I feel and interpret things in a certain way because I am autistic.
The main thing I have taken away from the sessions is to understand there’s a difference in taking on the weight of an apology, by saying “sorry I am unable to do this” I don’t have to feel guilt for that, and sometimes it’s okay to say sorry and not to take on the weight of that apology, it’s just saying it to be polite.
Overall, I feel the sessions I have had have been of massive benefit, and I would recommend Gareth to anybody who may be feeling like their autism is a burden to them in the workplace, as he has certainly helped me to become a lot more self-aware, less critical of myself and to be easier on myself rather than taking everything as the absolute disaster scenario.”

“Gareth has been amazing in helping me manage the emotions and the cognitive processes that happen as a result of my ADHD. I felt supported and guided and I was given very clear suggestions as to how I can better deal with my stressful workload. It is very important to work with someone that has personal experience of neurodivergence. You can develop an instant connection and they can understand your thought processes fast and with clarity.”

“…you made me aware that I mustn’t wait for changes to happen, but work hard towards making them happen“
“I would like to express my gratitude for all our sessions, prior to which I was a messy sleeper, an overeater, with no understanding of neuro-diverse aspects of my life. I didn’t have much comprehension of how unorthodox my attitude towards any project’s delivery was, nor how much my unorganised routines of completing daily home tasks were complicating my life further… I remember you made me aware that I mustn’t wait for changes to happen, but work hard towards making them happen… We have had quite a few full-on sessions, where we both agreed that they were dramatic in the sense of my self-discovery. I am still observing daily my quirky ways and try to be kind to myself, rather than chastising myself for being me.

I just want to say a massive ‘thank you’. Admittedly I was a bit sceptical about what kind of impact the sessions would have initially. You crushed this within minutes of the first session though with your personable demeanour. Honestly, I’ve found these sessions to be infinitely helpful and something I actually looked forward to – which is a rarity at the moment. Optimism is in short supply and you really showed me there is actually light at the end of the tunnel.
You’ve given me a greater understanding of neurodiversity and how this affects my life on a day-to-day basis, going so far as to pursue a formal diagnosis. There’s been many instances over the years when I’ve struggled to cope, I finally have some clarity as to why now. Which has lifted some of the burden, instead of writing it off as me being ‘moody’ or ‘weird’. The information and tips you have given me have been invaluable. Hopefully the formal diagnosis will further this and give me a greater understanding, meaning I can deal with situations, and life in general, in a more beneficial manner. Helping rather than hindering.
Honestly, you’ve been a tremendous help and I cannot thank you enough. It has been a total pleasure to converse with you over the last couple of months, both professionally and personally. I’m more than a bit disappointed that our sessions have come to an end. It has been a joy to meet you and I wish you nothing but happiness and success. Hopefully this won’t be the last time our paths will cross.

“One of the best parts of the sessions for me has been just how easy you are to talk to. You listen, you respond, you make me laugh and smile even when we are discussing a more difficult topic… I have found your support invaluable”.
Hope your summer holiday has started well!
I just wanted to say a big thank you for everything you have already supported me with.
Over the years, I have had a lot of CBT/Counselling but haven’t ever felt the sessions really got to the crux of the difficulties I am struggling with. The sessions we have had feel so different to any others I have experienced before. I feel as though we are really delving deep into the past and uncovering so much about me and why I have the difficulties I do today, as well as then putting some genuinely helpful support mechanisms in place.
It has been so eye opening to chat through everything and look at how to try to move forward but by still acknowledging the past.
One of the best parts of the sessions for me has been just how easy you are to talk to. You listen, you respond, you make me laugh and smile even when we are discussing a more difficult topic, you have found ways to help me really look at what is important to me and the potential causes of ongoing difficulties. I have found your support invaluable. So thank you.
Megan
